Year 3 measure up for Stone Age projects!
Year 3 have begun planning and making prototypes in preparation for their Stone Age projects.
The children have been studying and researching into their chosen area of interest over the last two weeks and have today started planning and collecting equipment for their project. Elodie was making a template for her Stone Age dress out of paper so she knows how big to cut her material. Some children are making caves out of clay so made prototypes using play dough to see if the structure would hold.
Other children collected sticks and stones to practice the fixing of their Stone Age weapons. Phoebe and Lucyjo used sticks to create practice shelters.
We can’t wait to get our projects made so we can show off our skills during the open curriculum afternoon!
