Latest Ofsted Report
Ofsted say we’re ‘good’ but we plan to be ‘outstanding’…
The latest Ofsted report rates Ellesmere Primary School as ‘good’. It notes the school has made significant improvements since the last report.
As part of the plan to accelerate this rate of change, the school became part of North West Academies Trust in September 2016. A comprehensive plan has been set out to bring further changes to give children the best possible education and achieve a level of ‘outstanding’ in the 2019 Ofsted review.
Excerpt from the latest Ofsted report:
“Children enjoy being in the classroom, and appreciate the variety in their curriculum.
“Behaviour is good, both at social times and during lessons. Their constructive attitudes to learning are well developed.
“Inspection evidence shows that current pupils are making strong progress in reading, writing and mathematics. They feel entirely safe in school.”
