    Alison Utting

I moved to Ellesmere in 2013 (from St Martins) and my youngest two children are at Ellesmere Primary, having attended Ducklings and Nursery previously. I care deeply about this school, both as the learning environment for my own children and in a wider sense as a vital part of this community.
I am a qualified teacher of English (secondary) although not currently teaching. Over the years, I have worked as a nursery nurse, a retail supervisor and a local government clerk. I also served as a Parish Councillor for many years. I volunteer with several charities that support bereaved families. I enjoy drama, music, walking with my dogs in the hills of Shropshire and Wales, reading, and knitting.
