VIP guest makes a splash with the school’s Eco Team

The school’s Eco Team were brimming over with ideas about how to save water at home after a visit by a representative from Severn Water.

On Thursday 10th November, Richard Clough met with the team, who discussed the possibility of a water project they could run in school.

After the meeting, Richard led an assembly focusing on how much water we use and how we can save water at home. Did you know that if you turn the tap off when you are brushing your teeth you can save 12 litres of water a day?

Richard then told the children the things that could and couldn’t be flushed down the toilet. The children learnt a lot from the assembly and are looking forward to saving water at home. In January, Richard will be returning to school to find out how Ellesmere’s water saving is going!
