Year 3 experience Stone Age artwork and painting.

This week we have been looking at how Stone Age people would have communicated and created colour for cave paintings. We used blackberries and elderflower berries to create a red dye to make handprints like the ones found in caves.

We also studied Stone Age cave art and recreated them using oil pastels. We noticed that they painted bison, horses and people to tell stories in the caves which have helped us to learn about what life was like during that time.
