What a fabulous end to our week.

Our children were so excited this morning after making their way to school in the heavily falling snow! We wasted no time getting our warm clothes on and going outside to explore and play. For some of our youngest children in school this has been their first proper snow experience and we’re sure it’s a day that they will all remember!

The children’s excitement and enthusiasm was magical. We had so much fun throwing snow balls, creating snow angels and catching falling snow on our tongues! The children were able to use their senses to explore what they could see, feel, hear and touch. Some wonderful vocabulary was used.

On returning to class our magic Elves had appeared. They asked us about our wonderful morning in the snow. We decided to draw them some pictures and write to them telling them all about it.
