KS1 Sports Day Success
On Monday children in year 1 and year 2 kicked off our sports day week. Children from across the key stage showed fantastic sportsmanship, competitive spirit and support for each other.
Children took part in both field and track events, earning individual points and house points. The field events included shot put, target throw, running jump, vertical jump and javelin. Track events included the egg and spoon race, 50m sprint, 100m sprint, hurdles and sack race. It was fantastic to see the amount of support for each other and the number of parents and family members out cheering the children on.
Cook had the most house points for the morning followed by Baret and Erricsson. Well done to all the children for taking part.
