Diary writing in Year 5!
We have enjoyed another busy week in Year 5!
In English, we have continued using ‘There’s a boy in the girls’ bathroom’ to discuss how different characters may feel and the reasons why this might change throughout the book. This week we have written our own diary entries from the point of view of a character from the story called Bradley Chalkers. Once they had finished, the children edited their work to make sure they had included all of the key features and to make it even more interestingto read – a very important skill!
This week in Maths we have been looking at measuring and drawing angles accurately with a protractor. On Monday, Moscow and Istanbul were slightly confused to discover their tables had been turned into exercise books! The children investigated all the different types of angles and used a protractor to measure the different types.
