School Council Promote Shoe Box Appeal

Dear parents,

We want to inform you about our new project- the Teams4U shoe box appeal.

Teams4U is a charity which gives aide to several different countries; supporting various different projects through partnerships with local individuals and organisations.

This year we wish to support their shoebox appeal at Ellesmere Primary. For those who are unaware, a shoe box appeal is where shoeboxes are filled with arrange of gifts/ useful items which can then be delivered to less privileged children for Christmas.

This week, we have been visiting the classes and introducing the children to the project, they have all been very enthusiastic about the opportunity to help others!

This afternoon, we will be sending out leaflets to guide you on what you can and can’t include in your shoebox. We have also designed our own posters and will be putting them up around the school premises.

If you want to check out their website for additional guidelines please search the Teams4U website.

Date for your diaries- collection date for the boxes is on Friday 6th December but can be dropped off at school at any point before then.

Thank you for reading, we hope you will support us in this fantastic cause.
