Yesterday, Year 6 had the pleasure of attending a safety event organised by The Rotary Club in Oswestry.

They had fun experiencing and reacting to a range of real life emergency situations. They were presented with ten different scenarios relating to their health and safety and the aim was to increase their awareness of everyday dangers. If ever faced with any of the dangers, the children now know how to seek help from the appropriate authorities.

They spent time with a number of organisations including the police, the fire and rescue team, the coastal team, a cycling team and St John Ambulance.

The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. All children were well-behaved and fully engaged in the sessions by asking some important questions. Well done year 6!
