Year 3 have had a fantastic start to the new year creating a number museum in the classroom!

Brisbane and Sydney have been working on the place value of 3 digit numbers and created exhibitions in pairs to show their understanding of a 3 digit number. They used a mixture of models and images to represent and show what a 3 digit number meant to them. We had some fantastic ideas, including Megan who used different 3D shapes to represent the H,T and U which she labelled.

We know the children will continue to work hard in their maths lessons and enjoy exploring more problem solving and reasoning opportunities.
