We have had a wonderful day today raising money for Sports Relief. We have seen such a range of sports represented through the different costumes. Footballers, rugby players, gymnasts, runners, horse riders and golfers to name just a few!

We started our day off with a Sports Relief assembly talking about how Sports Relief helps helps to create a world which is happier, healthier and safer in The UK and the rest of the world. Sports Relief helps to fund a number of projects which get children into activities where they can meet new friends. It also funds medical treatment and mental health support.

All children across school have participated in an inter school house handball event as part of their Sports Relief day. We have had lots of fun and worked together within our house teams. The points from the handball will be added to the other house sports event from the year to go towards a house sports shield at the end of the year.

Within classes children have been getting involved in Sports Relief in different ways from Go Noodle sessions, dances and performing the Sports Relief song ‘Step It Up’.

As part of our fundraising we have raised £263.

Well done everyone!
