It has been a very busy few weeks in Year 2.
The children have been working hard to produce poppies for our whole school poppy display to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. We used plastic drinks bottles to represent the poppy. The children also made a human poppy.
We have also been busy in the outdoor environment with Lisbon class having their forest school sessions, we have been exploring habitats in Science and we had our inter -house sports festival.
In English we have been learning about the four types of sentences and improving our joined handwriting and in Maths we have been measuring capacity. The children enjoyed measuring out potions.
